1st Annual Lighting of the Lakefield Memorial Tree

Join us for this non-denominational ceremony, as we hang memorial ornaments in memory of our loved ones, sing carols and enjoy refreshments. Staff will be on hand at 6:00pm at the Cemetery Office to assist those who have purchased a personalized memorial ornament. The Tree Lighting ceremony will begin at 7:00pm. Families are encouraged to bring their own ornaments from home to help decorate the tree. Families are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Lakefield Foodbank.

Come on out and give Curling a try! Whether it's your first time, or your first time in a long time, we would love to have you out. Youth through Adult are encouraged to attend. Our coaches, lead by Head Coach Tara will demenstrate both "in hack" and stick delivery, making this event inclusive and suitable for those with mobility issues, as well as those wth limited/no vision and limited/no hearing. Will provide all equipement. Please bring clean comfortable shoes similar to what you would wear in the gym, and wear warm clothing suitable for a fall day (it is chilli out on the ice.) that you can strech and move in.
