OFT and NFU-O Land-linking and Farmland Conservation Workshop

The Ontario Farmland Trust (OFT), in partnership with the National Farmers Union – Ontario, will be hosting a series of free workshops on land-linking and farmland conservation throughout communities in Ontario. On Thursday, January 30th, from 4-6 PM one of these workshops will be taking place in the Peterborough area at Lunar Rhythm Gardens, 253 Grey Road, Janetville. These workshops are designed to inform you about the different models of farm succession that are available. Workshops are intended for farmers of all ages and career stages, and both experienced and beginner farmers will gain something from attending them. Not only are these workshops a great opportunity to learn, but they are also an opportunity for new farmers who are seeking land to connect with experienced farmers with land who may be nearing retirement and searching for a successor.
